Building upgrades: levels 1–30
Before the Fire Crystal era, every core building climbs from level 1 to 30 on Wood, Meat, Coal and Iron. This guide totals what those levels cost and shows where the bill really lands. For what comes after level 30, see the Fire Crystals guide.
Plan exact levels for every building with the Building calculator.
What each building costs, levels 1–30
| Building | Wood (Lv 1 → 30) | Meat | Coal | Iron | Share in Lv 26–30 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Furnace | 1.3B | 1.29B | 258.1M | 65.7M | 75% |
| Embassy | 263.4M | 262.9M | 52.7M | 13M | 75% |
| Infirmary | 329.5M | 329M | 65.7M | 16.3M | 75% |
| Command Center | 393.8M | 393.1M | 77.7M | 19.6M | 75% |
| Infantry Camp | 456.2M | 455.5M | 91.2M | 23M | 75% |
| Marksman Camp | 456.2M | 455.5M | 91.2M | 23M | 75% |
| Lancer Camp | 456.2M | 455.5M | 91.2M | 23M | 75% |
The three troop camps share one cost table. The War Academy isn't listed — it has no regular levels and only appears in the Fire Crystal era.
Two patterns hold for every building:
- Wood first, Meat later. Levels 1–10 cost Wood only; Meat joins from level 11, in the same amount as Wood.
- The last five levels are most of it. Levels 26–30 take about 75% of all the Wood these buildings need. The Furnace alone needs 1.3B Wood to reach level 30, and 75% of that is in its last five levels.
Across all 7 buildings, levels 1–30 come to about 3.65B Wood (and as much Meat).
The Furnace caps everything
No building can be raised above your Furnace's level, so every upgrade plan starts with the Furnace. The Command Center also needs the Embassy at the target level. The Building calculator checks these prerequisites for you and flags anything you'd need to raise first.
How to plan
- Keep the Furnace ahead. Everything else waits on it.
- Expect the cliff at 26–30. Resource needs rise steeply at the top; save up before you get there rather than stalling mid-way.
- Think beyond 30. Level 30 leads straight into Fire Crystal levels — the Fire Crystals guide covers what they cost.
