Treasure Hunter
Treasure Hunter is a 5-day digging event. Each search costs one Pickaxe. On every floor you pick one reward as your Ultimate Treasure; finding it clears the floor and moves you on to the next one.

The guarantee
The Ultimate Treasure is guaranteed by a fixed search on every floor. Every 5th floor is a Supreme Chamber: it takes longer to guarantee, but its Ultimate Treasure pays double.
| Chamber | Floors | Guaranteed by search | Expected searches |
|---|---|---|---|
| Common | Most floors | 14 | 13 |
| Supreme | Every 5th floor | 22 | 18.2 |
Two things follow from this:
- The guarantee is close to the real cost. On a Common floor you'll usually spend about 13 Pickaxes against a worst case of 14, so budget for the worst case — it's rarely far off.
- Progress on a floor is never lost. Searches count toward the guarantee until you clear the floor, even across days. Stopping mid-floor is fine.
Clearing the first ten floors takes 156 Pickaxes at worst, and about 140 on average.
Pickaxes
The daily missions give 16 Pickaxes for free, plus 10 more if you make any purchase that day. Over the event that's 80 free Pickaxes — enough to reach about floor 6 even with bad luck, or floor 7 with average luck.
How to plan
- Pick the Ultimate Treasure you need most. It's the one reward you're sure to get on every floor you clear, and Supreme floors pay it twice.
- Budget by the guarantee. Plan floors with the worst-case number; good luck is a bonus.
- Do the missions every day. The free Pickaxes are most of what a non-spender gets — missing a day costs 16.
